In 2020 Ben & Nicole really evaluated what they wanted in life and what they valued. Traditional family values and food security were at the top of that list. So when they bought their small 3/4 Acre plot in 2020 they set out with with one primary goal in mind: Self Sufficiency.
We’re a small family of 3 (soon to be 4!) simply looking to live life to the fullest and bring whomever so chooses along our journey with us.
Ben, originally from New Brunswick, is no stranger to unique ways of living. From 2017-2019 he lived in a bus, then a camper and traveled across Canada where he fell in love with story telling and photography. Now an accomplished cinematographer for Trekkit Offroad the time not spent on their small hobby farm/homestead is spent on riding the ATV trails of Eastern Canada.
Together, Ben & Nicole want to safely raise their family on good food. Knowing where their food comes from and how their animals were treated is important to them and they ultimately want to learn to be as self sufficient as they can and go off-grid together, raising animals for meat and curating a community around their goals.
